All illustrations are made by hand with pencil, Sakura Pigma Micron ink pens, a variety of paper types, and primarily ink based colored markers.

All ceramic work is done with clay bodies that fire to cone five or higher. Alyssa's preference is to work with Dover White, Special Buff, Spotted Buff, and Obsidian clay bodies.

Alyssa's first love, the mig welder has provided her endless opportunities to create and to work. These sculptures are all created with found materials. Not exactly the recycling you were thinking of.

A brave new horizon to explore, Alyssa recently received a Wacom tablet and is currently teaching herself how to use it. Stay tuned for progress!
