Ceramics

Alyssa took an intro to ceramics class in 2014 and immediately became hooked. She has been very lucky to have met and studied with some very talented mentors and fellow artists during her time as an off again, on again student. 

Alyssa primarily takes inspiration from the work around her, seldom having a plan for a piece before starting it, finding the lack of boundaries to be very stimulating. while she does clay and clay specific pieces she also loves to combine organic and inorganic materials in her work.
